Claire baked our gender reveal/engagement cake for our event yesterday. We had white butter cream with sponge in the inside. It completely exceeded my expectations… and we received so many comments on the taste of the cake. Usually at events the cake doesn’t really get eaten, but everyone went back for seconds. My partner and I decided to skip dinner tonight so that we could eat the last of the cake instead. I will need to have another baby so I can get Claire to bake us another cake! She will be our local cake baker from now on!

I ordered an Oreo Cookies & Cream cake from Cakes by Claire for my step-daughter's 16th birthday and it was absolutely fantastic! After researching online for the perfect cake, I came across Cakes by Claire and couldn't have been happier with what she produced. The expression on my step-daughter's face when she saw the cake was on of absolute shock and amazement! Needless to say she was so impressed! The best part, was that it tasted just as good as it looked and it definitely helped make for an extra special 16th birthday even in lockdown.
